Cambodia: Union to appeal decision to dismiss three union leaders from garment factory supplying to H&M and Levi Strauss

We have not yet filed an official complaint to the Minister of Labour against the decision to dismiss our members as we were hopeful that the international brands buying from the factory would support us in finding a positive resolution. We now feel that there is little hope as no progress has been made so we are in the process of preparing the appeal. In the meantime, we urgently request the brands use their influence to press for the reinstatement of the three dismissed union members who have been out of work for over six weeks now and are facing great difficulties without wages, unable to support themselves and their families.
