Colombia: Two Afro-Colombian women denounce threats received for protesting social impact of Buenaventura port expansion

Two outstanding women leaders from the Process of Black Communities in Colombia, PCN (for its Spanish acronym) denounced intimidation and threats in events that started since 2015 when they actively participated in citizens protests due to the marginality and violence conditions that Buenaventura people experience (in Spanish); it’s the main Colombian exporting port on the Pacific.  Citizenry has stated that most of these events have to do with the interests of expansion of the TCBUEN, the containers terminal and port services, TCBUEN, part of APM Terminals [part of AP Moller- Maersk Group].  Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Maersk to respond.  The response is provided.
