The Jordanian Ministry of Labour declared that from the beginning of Covid pandemic until April 2021, it has received 86,472 complaints against 21,093 enterprises through its "Hemayeh" digital platform and its social media platforms. of which 1,914 complaints has been referred to court. The ministry said that it has received complaints against 15,679 enterprises related to delayed payment of wages, and 5414 enterprises for illegal dismissal of workers.

The ministry further stated that it has urged 10,890 enterprises to pay salaries to their workers and that 333,357 workers (male and female) have received their delayed salaries. In addition, 5716 of 9,250 workers have had their employment reinstated after the ministry found that they had been unlawfully laid off.
