The voices that point to the protests arise after the Executive Power approved the extension until December 31 of the working group that accompanies and evaluates the fulfilment of the commitments between the Executive, representatives of the mining company Las Bambas and the peasant communities involved in the mining conflict in Cotabambas... The leaders of the peasant communities of Fuerabamba, Chuicuni and Huancuire, speaking to La República, expressed their dissatisfaction with this extension, pointing out that the deadline is too long and that they will evaluate the resolution approving the extension in order to give a response to the central government and the mining company...
