Audi response to alleged sourcing from Serbian Linglong factory amid migrant worker abuse

...

We cannot confirm the information you have described. Audi does not source any tires from the aforementioned Shandong LingLong factory in Zrenjanin. Also in the past, no tires were purchased from Shandong Linglong Tire Serbia. In addition, I ask for your understanding that we generally do not comment on individual suppliers and contract details.

In our supply chain, we always ensure compliance with all specifications, laws and internal regulations. Anyone who wants to work with Audi must adhere to the Code of Conduct for Business Partners of the Volkswagen Group. This Code of Conduct sets clear guidelines for integrity, compliance, the environment and social issues. Our direct suppliers are expected to pass on sustainability requirements to their business partners along the supply chain. If Audi learns of allegations or violations of sustainability requirements, it investigates them immediately with the help of the Supply Chain Grievance Mechanism. This applies if there are indications of a potential violation of the Code of Conduct for Business Partners by suppliers.

Part of the following timelines
