Title translation and following summary of the report's key points, provided by Business & Human Rights Resource Centre with authorization by SACOM.] An investigation of 13 Shenzhen electronics factories producing components for many well-known brand names found widespread labour abuses including issues such as: child labour, excessive overtime and overtime pay below legal minimum, maximum working hours, marital and sick leave, maternity leave, pregnancy, marital status and disability discrimination, minimum wage and social insurance. The thirteen factories are: Bestec, Chicony Electronics, Delta Electronics (part of Delta Group), Glory Faith PCB (part of Kingboard Chemical Holdings), Lixun Precision Industry, Minfeng Plastic Products (owned by Cheng Loong Corp.), Plato Electronic (owned by Unimicron Technology, which is part of UMC), Shenzhen Baoan Shixia Fittec (HK) Electronics Factory (part of Fittec International), Shenzhen Yonghong Factory (owned by Shenzhen Zhonghan Science & Tech Co. Ltd.), Volex Cable Assembly (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd (part of Volex Group), Xinhao Precision Parts Factory, Xinmei Electronic Plastics Factory and Yixin Plastics & Electronics. The 47 brands, according to SACOM, that these factories produce for are: Acer, Apple, Asrock, Asus, BYD, Canon, Compaq, Datang Telecom, Dell, Delta, Dongju, Elecom, Epson, Evoc, Founder, Foxconn, Fujitsu, Gateway, Greatwall, Hancheng, Hanhua, HP, Huawei, IBM, Kinpo Electronics, Konka, Lenovo, LG, Maxim Integrated Products, Microsoft, Motorola, NEC, Nokia, Nortel, Panasonic, Philips, Ruijie (formerly Start), Samsung, Sharp, Siemens, Sony, TCL, Toshiba, Trigem, Tsinghua Tongfang, ZSSoft and ZTE.
