On 30 May 2022, Aldo Flores and Enzo Brizuela, members of the El Algarrobo Assembly, were arrested for judicial disobedience and threats. Their detention is related to their opposition to the MARA-Agua Rica mega-mining project in Andalgalá, Catamarca, Argentina. Aldo Flores suffered a cardiac decomposition during his declaration.
