FARM Rio has not responded to the #BreakupWithStarbucks campaign

We invited FARM Rio to comment on the campaign, organised by trade unions and civil society organisations, for the company to break its partnership with multinational Starbucks, in the face of allegations of labour and environmental violations. The #BreakupWithStarbucks campaign, led by Coffee Watch, an NGO that monitors and denounces bad practices in the coffee sector worldwide, demands ‘an immediate end to the partnership, classified as “image laundering” by a company involved in exploitation’. The company did not respond.
