A foreman on a Hong Kong airport project has been charged over allegations of taking bribes from 10 migrant workers to "secure their jobs", and is under investigation by the Independent Commission Against Corruption.

The investigation includes allegations the foreman charged migrant workers over HK$54,000 (almost USD7,000). Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited the foreman's employer, Gammon Construction, to respond to the allegations, and outline:

• Your standards for prohibiting such charges,
• The steps you have taken since to conduct your own investigation, and
• Any steps taken to identify and remedy the workers for the charges paid.
