India: Two Nepali workers die in Delhi after inhaling toxic fumes from coal brazier

Two men allegedly died after inhaling toxic fumes from an angithi (coal brazier) in their room in West Delhi’s Inderpuri area, police said. The deceased worked at a restaurateur’s home and were sleeping in the same room on the third floor of their employer’s house, they added.

The deceased were identified as Ram Bahadur (57) and Abhishek (22). Both men hailed from Lumbini village in Nepal.

Police said a crime team was sent to inspect the spot. Preliminary investigation did not point at any foul play, police said, adding no external injuries found on the bodies of the deceased.
