In June 2023, it was reported that multiple garment factories (Duniatex, Agungtex Group, PT Kabana, PT Pismatex, PT Sae Apparel, PT Pulaumas, PT Adetex, PT Nikomas Gemilang and PT Chingluh) were laying off workers amid reduced or non-existent buyer orders.

In March 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited adidas (allegedly sourcing from PT Nikomas), Nike (allegedly sourcing from PT Nikomas and PT Chingluh) and Under Armour (allegedly sourcing from PT Nikomas) to respond. The responses can be found below.
