Job posting: Global Campaigns Internship [WWF]

WWF is the world’s largest and most experienced independent conservation organisation and operates as a truly global network, served by a secretariat; WWF International. WWF plays a crucial role in influencing political processes and decision-making through targeted advocacy based on scientific evidence.

WWF International’s global campaigns team is responsible for identifying, designing and implementing conservation-driven campaigns and mobilizing the WWF network around them. The department develops campaigns that align national, regional and global approaches to the conservation work of WWF, fosters best-practice skills sharing and capacity-building and promotes a culture of campaigning within the network.

In April 2016, the WWF network will launch its most ambitious global campaign to date, to safeguard natural World Heritage sites from harmful industrial activities that threaten to degrade their value for people and nature.

WWF International is looking for an intern to support the advocacy-focused work streams of the WWF network’s next global campaign on protecting our shared natural heritage from damage from industrial pressures.
