KiK's response

…Even two years after the tragic fire in a factory in Karachi/Pakistan the support of the victims and their families is still very important to us. According to our partner PILER, the pay offs of the [funds provided] by KiK…are already completed. It was and still is our wish to find out where…needs [still] exist and where KiK might step in supportively. Therefore we need transparency concerning the amount of the so far provided funds of all persons concerned - including the financial support of the government. We did already outline these demands to our partner organizations during a meeting in July 2014. We appreciate that, according to media reports from Express Tribune with the International New York Times from September 3rd 2014, PILER with help of the High Court, has already contacted relevant government agencies for the discovery of the payments already made…[W]e suggested a follow-up meeting in September 2014 to PILER.
