Myanmar: Garment workers report suffering over excessive, mandatory overtime; incl. co. responses

In August 2024, it was reported that workers at Sincere Season are facing a series of violations, including mandatory overtime daily, verbal abuse if workers don’t work overtime, workers not signing an employment contract, underage workers, day labourers hired and then fired, workers taught what to answer during inspections, denial of leave incl. medical leave, no medicine available.

In December 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited BESTSELLER (for VERO MODA), Inditex (for Pull&Bear), LPP (for sinsay) and New Yorker (for AMISU) to respond. The responses can be found below.
