Six violations of mandatory industrial safety requirements were detected during the operation of the hydraulic structure - tailings pond of the Sarylakh Concentrator of JSC "Sarylakh-Surma. The press-service of the Lensk Department of Rostekhnadzor informs about it.
It was found that monitoring of the HS condition indicators was not ensured (water level readings were not taken and recorded in the visual observation log on a daily basis); slurry pipeline wall thickness readings were not recorded in the relevant log; spent slurry pipeline pipes were stored at the tailings dam; the demolished intermediate transmission line support was not dismantled, and other violations were committed.
