UK mining company Lonmin has introduced a community grievance mechanism following a pilot project launched last year. The mechanism is known as Buang Le Rona/Thetha Nathi – ‘Talk to Us’ in English – and is aimed at improving two-way communication and the resolution of grievance within the Greater Lonmin communities.
