Talisman jumps on Sudan sale speculation

Talisman Energy Inc. shares jumped nearly 6 percent on Friday on speculation it could sell its stake in war-torn Sudan's biggest oil project to Sweden's Lundin Petroleum AB...Talisman, which also operates in Canada, the North Sea and Indonesia, has been the target of sharp criticism from some church and human rights groups, as well as from the U.S. government, for its presence in the African country, where a civil war has raged for the past 18 years.
