Tanzania: NGO calls for compensation to victims of alleged human rights abuses at Acacia's North Mara mine; company responds

Rights and Accountability in Development (RAID) has urged the Tanzanian government and investors to ensure Acacia Mining addresses alleged human rights violations at the North Mara gold mine, including providing compensation to victims, as part of the current negotiations about the company’s operations on the tax it pays and other issues.
