ICCR Commemorates International Human Rights Day
From worker rights abuses to the social impacts of extractive industries to supply chain abuses like forced child labor, ICCR [Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility] members challenge companies to develop human rights policies that ensure that these moral issues become a business imperative. While change never happens as quickly as we’d like, there are many companies that have made substantial progress on this issue. To commemorate International Human Rights Day this year, we recognize a few of them and show them our appreciation for their efforts thus far.
The following companies have significantly improved their human rights records:
· Ford Motor Company
· Gap, Inc.
· Hewlett-Packard (HP)
· Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation
· The Walt Disney Company
Please join ICCR in commending the following companies for their progress in adopting and implementing human rights policies
