Board rejects EIA [environmental impact assessment] report on potash mine - Villagers against mining project [Thailand]

The National Environment Board has rejected the environmental impact assessment (EIA) report on a controversial potash mine in Udon Thani and ordered the firm investing in the project to add more information on environmental and social impacts that the multi-billion-baht underground mine operations could cause...
