ACFTU and Union Organizing [China]

The All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), with a declared membership of over 120 million, claims to be the world's largest union organization. But behind this impressive facade, workers in China are among the world's most exploited, disorganized and dis-empowered workforces. When some of these workers do show the courage to organize, sometimes in tens of thousands, they never go to the ACFTU.
