"Children´s Rights in the Omnibus Simplification Package I: Future-proofing corporate sustainability – Policy Brief", 2025

This Save the Children Europe policy brief aims to outline why integrating child rights considerations in the EU Omnibus simplification package I for the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) would help create a business environment that is sustainable, competitive and resilient. This approach would also support EU Member States in upholding their obligations under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), ensure EU companies are free from child labour, and strengthen the long-term sustainability of the EU economy.
