Human rights and investment law: the potential for resolving disputes

It is an interdisciplinary medley of international and domestic investment law, natural resource law; land law and human rights law. The common thread is property rights and how these relations are articulated in a web of conflicting legal frameworks in Africa. He is also concerned with how power imbalances affect local communities living near natural resource project locations...That the analysis hinges on property rights makes it accessible to both human rights and commercial lawyers, whether civil or common. Legal academics, policy makers and researchers would also do well here.
