...Realizing Rights: The Ethical Globalization Initiative convened a small group of experts, in their personal capacity, for a full day meeting in New York on 29 June 2009 (see the end of this document for a list of experts). The experts were invited to share their views on what it might mean to integrate a gender perspective into the UN framework on Business and Human Rights introduced by [UN Special Representative John Ruggie] and unanimously endorsed by the Human Rights Council – now known as the UN “Protect, Respect and Remedy” framework.
