ソース
Indigenous water protector and member of the Oglala Sioux tribe Ms. Red Fawn Fallis was accused of firing a handgun three times while resisting arrest on 27 October 2016 during protests against the Dakota Access pipeline. No one was hurt. Fallis denied intentionally trying to injure anyone and claimed not to remember firing the gun after being tackled by police. Dakota pipeline protesters and human rights groups condemned the arrest.
On 11 July 2018, Red Fawn was sentenced to 57 months in prison under the terms of a non-cooperating plea agreement. She has returned home under federal surveillance probation.
