Top Glove response re- ongoing abuses impacting Bangladeshi workers at Malaysian supplier Mediceram

Top Glove is firmly committed to upholding ethical labour standards in our operations and across our supply chain, and we expect the same from all our suppliers. Top Glove maintains a rigorous and legally binding Supplier Code of Conduct applicable to all approved suppliers.

The Code strictly prohibits any form of forced, bonded, trafficked or involuntary labour and is aligned with international standards, including the International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions, SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit), the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).

Following our audit findings, we have suspended our commercial relationship with Mediceram until independent validation of full remediation and alignment with our Supplier Code of Conduct and all applicable international labour standards is demonstrated by Mediceram.
