Allianz' response to Fair Finance International report

For Allianz the report does not make clear enough that the listed investments go to globally operating companies, which in parts also operate in Qatar. A direct connection is implied between the level of investment in the companies and investment in the construction and hotel sector in Qatar, which at least in our case does not exist in this way. As a global investor, we hold shares in e.g. major internationally represented hotel chains or construction companies. These may also be active in Qatar, among other places.

We are with our policyholder funds not directly invested in the construction sector or in the hotel sector in Qatar.
