"14 forex bureaus’ bank accounts frozen"

Bank accounts of 14 foreign exchange bureaus have been frozen in the wake of the Garissa University College massacre. Sixth three individuals have also been lined to terrorism by the government. Those affected are coast-based Muslim for Human Rights (Muhuri), Haki Afrika as well as another non-governmental organisation — Agency for Peace and Development that has offices in Kenya and Somalia.

Four bus companies plying the Nairobi-Garissa-Mandera routes, one consulting firm and a hotel in Nairobi’s Eastleigh were also named.
