Building Responsibly release guidance notes on Worker Welfare Principles for engineering and construction

См. все теги

On 10 October 2019, Building Responsibly launched Guidance Notes to accompany the Building Responsibly Worker Welfare Principles, published in June 2018. The Principles protect a range of labour rights, covering topics including the rights to safe and healthy working and living environments, freedom to change employment, treatment free from discrimination, protection of wages and benefits, and worker representation.

The Guidance Notes were informed by the input of multiple stakeholders, including membership - engineering and construction companies - and external consultations including with Business & Human Rights Resource Centre. They provide practical guidance to the construction and engineering industries on how to implement the Worker Welfare Principles.
