On 24 June 2008, a representative of the Special Representative to the UN Secretary General on business & human rights, John Ruggie (“SRSG”), addressed the 7th Inter-Committee Meeting of the United Nations’ Human Rights Treaty Bodies. The representative led a discussion on the conceptual and policy framework presented by the SRSG in his 2008 report to the Human Rights Council...
