См. все теги

The Democratic Republic of Congo says it wants to redraw the boundaries of Virunga National Park, a World Heritage site, to allow for oil exploration...Unesco says it has not been made formally aware of a request from the Congolese government to change the park's boundaries..."The necessity is to find a middle ground to see how to preserve nature but also to gain profit from resources so that the communities living there can see their living conditions get better," Mr Ponyo [Prime Minister] told the BBC. He said Soco had brought the issue of the boundary to the government's attention, but the company was not involved in the Unesco talks.
