Shuraako sees enormous potential in the Somali people to improve livelihoods in Somalia/Somaliland. This potential also can create a lasting, sustainable peace. We believe that one of the key components of peace and stability in the area is jobs. We understand that there is a gap between the Somali people’s passion and the availability of jobs, as the necessary investment and resources required to accelerate the creation of these jobs is difficult to find. Shuraako is a self-funded, non-profit initiative working to encourage further investment into promising businesses and organizations in Somalia/Somaliland.
