Solomon Islands: Bauxite mine workers in Solomon Islands left unpaid; co. did not respond

A recent media report (linked below) alleges that workers employed by a bauxite mining company, Bintan Mining Solomon Islands, have not been paid for more than a month; with serious implications for the workers who are unable to live and feed their families.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Bintan Mining SI to respond to the allegations. The company did not respond.
