We devote significant time and resources to help prevent and detect the illicit diversion of our products. We screen every customer and order multiple times throughout the ordering process, conduct customer and transaction diligence and actively monitor intelligence sources. We draw on information from government, law enforcement, industry, non-governmental organizations, and other credible sources to understand emerging threats. When we identify potential diversion concerns, we investigate and take action.

Despite the government’s and our entire industry’s efforts, several factors enable bad actors to divert chips to Russia: a vast global supply of chips measuring in the trillions; many parties resell chips in a large, global secondary market long after the original sale; and bad actors run sophisticated sanctions-evasion operations.
