Thailand: Facebook takes down accounts allegedly run by military for "inauthentic behavior" intended to influence public debate

Facebook has taken down accounts and groups allegedly run by the military due to "coordinated inauthentic behaviour" intended to influence public debate. Facebook said the accounts "targeted audiences in the southern provinces of Thailand where conflict has flared on and off for decades as insurgent groups continue a guerrilla war to demand independence". The military said that the accounts were personal and not related to the military.
