Kronospan had previously responded to the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre about this lawsuit in April 2020 - see here.

On 10 June 2021, Kronospan responded to the Resource Centre’s additional invitation to respond by providing the following information:

“During the court proceeding, Kronospan decreased demanded compensation to 1,00 UAH.”

“On 26 May 2021, the Supreme Court granted a decision in favor of NGO Ecoclub stating that information spread by Ecoclub related to potential negative environmental impact and is not a fact statement.”
