During the national elections for staff representatives on January 13, 2026, in accordance with the MINTSS decree of October 1, 2025, Sosucam fully complied with the rules applicable to the conduct of the ballot.

Sosucam has five trade union federations that are considered representative at the national level and to which a large number of seasonal workers already freely belong (2,403 on the day of the vote).

The votes were counted in the presence of representatives of the five trade union federations active, the company and the Labor Administration, represented by the Departmental Delegate for Labor and Social Security of Haute Sanaga.

The turnout was 82.53%.

It cannot be claimed that this constitutes an infringement of trade union pluralism, and the electoral process cannot be called into question.

It should be noted that Strascas, a departmental organization, does not currently meet the conditions required to be recognized as representative..

The Strascas cannot therefore claim to have “official accreditation.”

Strascas attempted to obtain the list of voters in the staff representative elections before the judge in summary proceedings, but its request was dismissed as the judge declared himself incompetent.
