Azerbaijan: Nardaran district residents suffer from lack of drinking water despite construction of water pipeline; incl. cos. non-responses

Four companies — Nardaran Invest LLC, Evrascon, Eren Construction, and Ensol — are involved in the construction of the Jeyranbatan–Mashtaga–Nardaran water pipeline and a reservoir. Despite the project, residents of Nardaran continue to face a shortage of drinking water. Public procurement documents indicate that, instead of addressing the community’s water needs, funding has been diverted to family members of officials or their close associates.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Evrascon, Eren Construction anbd Ensol to respond. None of the company replied.
