A new report by the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) and Telapak Indonesia - called "Timber Trafficking: Illegal Logging in Indonesia, South-East Asia and International Consumption of Illegally-Sourced Timber - reveals how international demand for tropical timber is driving the destruction of many of Indonesia's protected forests, and exposes how much of the illegal timber is laundered through the neighbouring countries of Malaysia and Singapore before being exported to the UK and other consuming countries.
