European framework agreement on equal opportunities signed at Areva

[T]he European Metalworkers’ Federation...had concluded a European framework agreement on equal opportunities with the management of the Areva Group. The concept of equal opportunities and equal treatment covers non-discrimination at the recruitment stage, equal access to career promotion for all employees, as well as equal access to pay and training...The agreement will need to be transposed to all of the 13 European countries in which the Areva Group operates...[It] identifies relevant indicators to assess the progress achieved.
