We invited Grupo Alberdi to comment on allegations that “since 24 February 2025, environmental human rights defenders Federico Soria and Mauricio Cornejo have been subjected to persecution and criminalisation due to their participation, alongside members of the community of Uspallata, Argentina, in the defence of the region’s water bodies”, in the context of the implementation of the San Jorge Mining Project in the area. The company did not respond.
