Independent experts Julian Burger, Monica Feria-Tinta and Claire McGregor elaborated the report “Indigenous peoples’ rights and hydro-electric projects in Guatemala: The case of the Ch’orti’ in Chiquimula”. The report contains allegations of negative social and environmental  impacts related to the hydroelectric projects El Oregano and El Cajón del Río, in Guatemala. The hydroelectric projects are part of the companies Las Tres Niñas and Jonbo, owned by America Trans Group.
