Heidelberg Materials response

1.Notifications dated 9 July 2025 and 5 February 2026 addressed to HeidelbergCement Rus LLC, concerning the Sterlitamak cement plant (Republic of Bashkortostan):

The letters were sent as preventive measures after air quality monitoring stations in the city recorded temporary exceedances of permissible levels of certain pollutants. In such cases, notifications are routinely sent to all industrial enterprises in the relevant industrial cluster. The Sterlitamak cement plant was named as one of several possible sources. Internal monitoring data showed neither exceedance nor abnormal emissions.

2. Scheduled inspection of the Cesla cement plant by the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources (Rosprirodnadzor) in 2024:

The document refers to a routine, scheduled official inspection in 2024, which identified minor exceedances of individual environmental parameters. The measures recommended by the authority were implemented. Internal monitoring, conducted quarterly since then, has not identified any further exceedances of these parameters.
