H&M response

“We take this situation very seriously, and we remain engaged in the process and outcome. Employer and different trade union affiliates had a conflict which escalated to termination of 3 people. Ministry of Labor was informed, visited the factory and made full assessment with interviews, resulting in approving the decision of the termination. The trade union federation further disagrees and have appealed the decision to the Minister of Labour for final decision. All have been done according to law, and we are pending outcome from the Minister. We are currently in dialogue with all parties to the matter; the supplier, various unions, and other brands having a business relationship with this supplier. We hope there will be continued dialogue between the supplier and the workers through the unions involved, to support well-functioning industrial relations.”
