Inditex responded

Inditex has a single global standard in its supply chain. All the suppliers and manufacturers are required to comply with Inditex´s Code of Conduct and Human Rights Policy in order to be part of its supply chain, which explicitly outlaws any form of forced or involuntary labor. These mandatory standards are aligned with the requirements set forth in the UFLPA.

Inditex regularly conducts detailed due diligence and monitoring of its suppliers to ensure that none are directly or indirectly engaged in labor and human rights abuses, and it is fully committed to the traceability of the raw materials used in garments production. The Group applies its traceability procedures to follow up on the fulfillment of the standards mentioned above and all the compliance requirements in all the markets where it operates by all the products that the company sells.

Since the suppliers and manufacturers that are part of the supply chain comply with Inditex’s Code of Conduct, its Human Rights Policy and the requirements contained in the UFLPA, Inditex does not expect any detention in the United States under the scope of that law.
