Lidl's response to allegations of abuses in Myanmar garment factories - March 2023 Update

Owing to these allegations, the CSR Team of our supplier conducted an investigation in January 2023 at the factory of Jiashihao (Myanmar) Limited to investigate the current situation. Based on that investigation, we found that the factory was free from the allegations as described in the Myanmar Labor News. No illegal activities or human rights violations were found during our auditor’s factory visit in January 2023...

Our corporate due diligence includes investigating possible cases of labor law violations and taking concrete measures together with our business partners to resolve grievances over the long term...
