Myanmar: Garment workers allegedly face harassment, discrimination & abuse by supervisors; Incl. co. responses

In April 2023, it was reported that workers at Myanmar Taieasy Textile were given excessive production targets, forced to buy materials from their own money, not given sufficient time to eat, and faced an uncomfortable (too hot or too cold) and unsanitary working environment. Workers also report that they were harassed, discriminated against and abused by supervisors.

In October 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Lidl to respond. The responses can be found below.
