Myanmar: Garment workers reportedly dismissed if they refuse overtime due to health issued caused by excessive working hours; incl. co. response

In September 2023, it was reported that workers at Ford Glory were forced to work overtime, and if they refused due to health issues caused by the overtime hours or feeling tired, they would be dismissed. Workers also reported that the factory did not provide transport for night shift workers.

In January 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LPP S.A (for its Sinsay brand) and LIDL to respond.
