NY to sue Bush Administration over utility rules

New York State's attorney general said he would the sue the Bush Administration over the US Environmental Protection Agency's decision yesterday to ease rules that now limit air pollution by coal-burning utilities....New York State, along with other Northeast states, in the past has sued Midwest and Canadian utilities, charging that smog and acid rain they produce has turned Adirondack lakes acidic, killed forests, and caused respiratory diseases.
