Primark's response to BHRRC Gender-based violence & Harassment report six-month update

...Any instance of gender-based violence would constitute a serious breach of the Code [of Conduct]. Should this be uncovered, our local Primark Ethical Trade Team would work closely with the factory to begin a remediation process. Compliance against this commitment is monitored by our team of 130 experts worldwide, who are based in each of our key sourcing markets, including South India, as well our third-party auditing partners. Every tier 1 factory in the Primark-approved supply chain is audited at least once a year, mostly unannounced – and more frequently in some instances.”
